One fine day, Kelsie, Diana, and I decided that we should go get Red Barn ice cream. The ice cream there is wonderful. Anyway, Kelsie and I decieded to bring our longboards because we wanted to ride them. Obviously. After we got our ice cream, I said we should go riding up in the new subdivision on the South Santaquin exit. Diana and Kelsie were saying we weren't, but we would go up and drive around there. So we drive up there and find a place where we could go riding, but Diana is afraid to ride one since a traumatic ripstick accident. So, we would go around and then Diana would come in the car and she'd take us up hills or where ever while holding on the back. We were getting bored so i said we should go up to the top of the subdivision just to hold on to the car. Finally, we get up there. There is this hill, it really isn't that steep or anything, plus there is a long street  where you had time to slow down. So Kelsie and I decided to go down the hill. I go very first and I'm going kind of fast, then my board starts wiggling but i kept on it and it stabilized. I keep going down the street, but I didn't slow down. I'm almost getting to this huge hill I would have died if i went to, so I only thought of one thing to do, jump off my board. So i jumped off and tried running, but sadly i failed. I landed on my knees then went sliding on my shoulder. I just got up and was walking around for what seemed like forever until Diana and Kelsie showed up. First, they took me to her sisters house, she but some antibaterial spray on my scrapes and said I might have broken my collar bone. So we go to the hospital and my mom meets me down there. Turns out that i really did break my collar bone. Plus, i am supposed to wear this figure 8 thing that's annoying. Overall, it wasn't that bad, just sad i can't play golf, or do much for a month.

Going to get Ice Cream

Good friends, stayed with me at the hospital. Made fun of my handicap.

My shoe lace was ripped.

Terrors of Hair Dyeing

Yeah, so long after i needed one, i finally made a hair appointment. So i went up to Santaquin to get my hair done. I got there and we started talking about how i wanted my hair done like we always do. Then i remembered that she said there was this pretty brown color she wanted to dye my hair next time that i came in. So, i asked her about it and she brings out her little hair color book and points to these two brown colors and said she was going to mix these. So i was like ok that's fine but i want a turquoise stripe right here. So, we go through the whole hair process and i see it and it looks dark brown. I loved it and she was like i wish i could see it when you go outside it's going to look amazing. I didn't get that but i had to hurry and get back for work, so i jumped in my car and started driving when i saw my hair was purple! I was horrified. However i went to work and i was like ok it won't be that bad if i just keep it. Then i went home and my mom saw and freaked out on me (she litterally called me a freak). So the next day i made an appointment and got it fixed so now it's just a redish brown, but i have these yellow spots in my hair from how she had to fix it. Plus, she said that she felt bad so she insisted in curling my hair that night, which was prom, which i wasn't going to. lol. I kind of miss my purple hair. it would have been awesome to see some peoples reactions. :)Purple HairNew hair

The Perks of Being a Wall Flower

So last Wednesday I finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. It was a really different from anything I had ever read before. Talks about real life things that are kind of a taboo for Utah, but it's still an amazing book. Teaches life lessons in an unexpected way. I suggest anyone to read it, as long as you don't mind him talking about his gay friend, and the drug use. Still amazing, anyway here are some quotes i loved from the book:

“Charlie, we accept the love we think we deserve.”

“Not everyone has a sob story, Charlie, and even if they do, it's no excuse.”

"And in that moment, I swear we were infinite."

"I am very interested and fascinated by how everyone loves each other, but no one really likes each other."

“It's great that you can listen and be a shoulder to someone, but what about when someone doesn't need a shoulder? What if they need the arms or something like that? You can't just sit there and put everybody's lives ahead of yours and think that counts as love. You just can't. You have to do things.”

"So I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them.
